The annual NAMIWalk is  the BIGGEST mental health awareness raising event in the central Ohio area and is the BEST way to REDUCE stigma and other barriers to care.

Please HELP US to make this year's walk a huge success. Donations from walkers from Knox and Licking County will stay in this affiliate to further our programs -- education, support and advocacy that are so important to our communities and to help families with mental illness put the pieces together.

In brief, you should know the following about us. Our organization was founded in 1949 under another name when a group of community spirited individuals got together to help the families of individuals diagnosed with mental disorders to treatment to the only treatment facility available in those times, Moundbuilders located in Newark, Ohio. they help to raise funds to make possible the establishment of a satellite mental health treatment facility in the county formerly known as Moundbuilders and now known as The Behavioral Healthcare Partners of Central Ohio (in both counties).

The history of this agency is rich. The agency became affiliated with NAMI several years ago and is now known officially as NAMI Knox Licking County Ohio; serving families with the benefits of NAMI's signature programs and activities in both counties.
